AD-SUCCESS Captures PRSA Honors

The Thoroughbred Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) honored AD-SUCCESS with four Thoroughbred Awards at the annual PRSA awards program on May 11. Only 16 Thoroughbred awards were handed out this year, so AD-SUCCESS took home an impressive one of every four citations presented. Annual Report Scores...Again!

The PRSA Thoroughbred Award earned by AD-SUCCESS for the Bluegrass Regional Mental Health-Mental Retardation Board annual report was the second award the report has earned. In February, the report also won a Silver ADDY at the Lexington Advertising Club's annual ADDY awards show.
Over the past 10 years, AD-SUCCESS has produced all 10 annual reports for the Bluegrass Regional Mental Health-Mental Retardation Board. Each year the annual report won at least one local, regional, national, or international award. Helping worthwhile organizations communicate their mission is something we take very seriously, and we value the opportunity to work with organizations such as this.

LexTran Rides...Again!

The Lexington Transit Authority (LexTran) picked up a First Place PRSA Thoroughbred award for the "There's a Lot Riding on LexTran" series of TV public service announcements. The spots, which feature real people who rely on LexTran, also won a Silver ADDY at the Lexington Advertising Club's annual ADDY presentation.
AD-SUCCESS has been privileged to work with the Transit Authority of Lexington, Kentucky, for many years and has received numerous awards. With the limited budget of the system, AD-SUCCESS is most proud to bring home 5 national awards based solely on 'bang-for-the-buck' and added-value obtained for the system. These awards were from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and the South West Transit Association.

Bluegrass Family Health Wins "Double"

The PRSA Thoroughbred Awards turned into a 'daily double' for AD-SUCCESS and Bluegrass Family Health. A 3-D 'pop-up' invitation won an award for its response rate and creativity. The 'MyBluegrassInfo' brochure series won in the category of 'special purpose' booklets. Member, provider, and employer booklets were developed, complete with screen-shots and instructions about their password-protected areas on the Bluegrass Family Health web site.

Next Generation of Scanlons Turning Heads
in Advertising and Academia

A team from the University of Kentucky won the district level of the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition. The UK group will be one of only 16 teams presenting campaigns in national competition in Dallas, TX, in mid-June. One of the four students responsible for actual on-stage presentation of the team's VISIT FLORIDA campaign is Cori Scanlon, daughter of AD-SUCCESS principals Paul and Sharalee Scanlon. With her mother's poise, her father's affability, and her own considerable intellect, it seems the next generation of Scanlons is well prepared to AD-SUCCESS, in any field she chooses.
