As the presenting sponsor of the 2005 edition of the annual Forum At Noon, AD-SUCCESS Marketing wants to thank the 540 Kentucky business professionals who made this event such a tremendous success for our community.

We especially want to thank Dr. Lee Todd, Jr., President of the University of Kentucky, and Tubby Smith, University of Kentucky Men's Basketball Coach, for their keynote address, "Good to Great," based on the book of the same title by Jim Collins.

AD-SUCCESS AT THE FORUM:
AD-SUCCESS owners Paul and Sharalee Scanlon thank University of Kentucky president Dr. Lee Todd, Jr., and his wife Patsy for participating in the "Good to Great" Forum luncheon. Paul gave Dr. Todd his first copy of the book Good to Great, and the university subsequently adopted many of its management precepts. Coach Tubby Smith shared many of his management philosophies at the Forum at Noon seminar, but still had time at the end to give AD-SUCCESS Senior Creative Associate Steve Broderson a game ball!

MORE NEWS FROM AD-SUCCESS MARKETING:
AD-SUCCESS Account Managers Attend Second Wind Seminar

In March, AD-SUCCESS account managers Casey Manges and Cori Scanlon were in Reading, PA, attending a continuing education seminar presented by the Second Wind Network. Second Wind is the largest trainer of advertising agency personnel in the world. Over the past 16 years, Second Wind has trained more than 15,000 agency professionals in specialized fields like account management and account planning. Second Wind now offers a new series of certified professional development programs that were created to help agencies be more responsive to their clients, and more profitable. Ms. Scanlon and Ms. Manges brought back a number of fresh approaches to value-added account management, which they will promptly implement at AD-SUCCESS.

While Scanlon and Manges were in Pennsylvania, they traveled to West Chester to tour the QVC Studio. Since opening in the fall of 1997, QVC Studio Park has become a popular destination for tourists and visitors interested in seeing live television in action. The QVC Studio tour is a one-of-a-kind guided trip through the fantastic world of electronic retailing. At this impressively equipped television production facility, our AD-SUCCESS duo got a first-hand look at how QVC products are sourced, tested, brought to life on air, and delivered to millions of QVC customers.
