STEVE BRODERSON JOINS AD-SUCCESS
MARKETING AS SENIOR CREATIVE ASSOCIATE
LEXINGTON, KY - Steve Broderson has joined the creative services department
of AD-SUCCESS Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations as Senior
Creative Associate.
Broderson graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1989 with a degree
in Advertising. He was Communications Coordinator for The Kentucky United
Methodist Homes for Children and Youth (Versailles) for six years before
joining Cornett Advertising (Lexington) for two years as a copywriter.
He then formed Studio 246 and produced original music for two years before
joining AD-SUCCESS Marketing.
"Having produced music for several AD-SUCCESS projects, I felt the
transition was natural," said Broderson. "My duties at AD-SUCCESS
will include music and broadcast production as well as copywriting for
print. I feel I’ll have a lot of creative space to explore."
Call it beginner’s luck, but Broderson’s first jingle, "Pop
A Top On Fun," (for client Ale 8-1,) won the national Silver Microphone
award for Best Jingle in 2001. The following year, Central Baptist Hospital’s
"Journey Of Life" campaign, featuring his original score, won
a national TELLY award. Broderson was also asked to teach an Audio Production
class at Asbury College in Wilmore, where he is still an adjunct professor.
While at pervious employment, Broderson also garnered several copywriting
ADDYs for clients like Bluegrass Tomorrow, American Founders Bank, Magic
105-FM, Central Baptist Hospital and Henry Wells.

she has been working toward a Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations for
the past three years. She started as in intern with AD-SUCCESS in early
May and was offered a position following her graduation on August 1.

LEXINGTON – Dana Saretsky has joined AD-SUCCESS as Office Manager
starting June 28.
The 26-year old Lexington native comes to AD-SUCCESS from Manpower, Inc.
at IBM in Lexington where she was financial administrator for the past
two years.
Ms. Saretsky has also worked as a board operator and production assistant
at Cumulus Broadcasting from 1997 to 1999, and as an office assistant
at the University of Kentucky Tobacco Research Institute from 1995 to
1999.

Beach, FL in January, has been elected president of the Marketing Communications
Agency Network, MCAN, an international marketing and advertising group.
Scanlon is to serve as MCAN president for the 2002-2003 term. MCAN is
made up of 25 advertising and marketing agencies based in the United States
and Canada.
As president of MCAN, Scanlon will be responsible for developing the yearly
goals for the organization, overseeing the Principals’ meeting (the
MCAN governing body), and coordinating the efforts of committees including
communication, membership, program development, and the MANNY Awards.

FINALISTS

Affordable Prepaid Tuition program (KAPT) administered by Kentucky State
Treasurer Jonathan Miller.
The two-year contract begins with the 2003 fiscal year. AD-SUCCESS won

firms from Lexington and Louisville. A total of six firms submitted bids

LEXINGTON, KY – Ken McSparran, a graduate of Transylvania University
in Lexington with a BA degree in Studio Art, and considerable expertise

& Public Relations as a graphic artist.
After graduation the 29-year-old Tacoma, Washington native worked for
Cornett Advertising in Lexington for five years and then joined PriceWeber
Marketing in Louisville, KY in 2000 before coming to AD-SUCCESS.
"I’m very impressed with the management and staff here,"
says MacSparran. "I’ve been here just a short time and already
I feel at home. Everyone has been very nice. The firm and its business

MacSparran is married. He and his wife Amy, a native of Milton, W.Va.,
met at Transylvania University and reside in Lexington. She has a degree
in Biology from Transylvania University.
